Best Practices Program Self-Assessment Survey Results
The Best Practices workgroup releases the Program Assessment for Quality Support & Collaboration in Los Angeles County Survey every two years. It is taken once per home visiting agency by managerial-level staff of home visiting programs.
The purpose of this survey is to:
Establish an understanding of the implementation of best practices in LA County’s home visiting programs
Provide a framework for programs to evaluate their current strengths and opportunities for improvement in adopting national best practice standards.
Facilitate peer support from programs for implementing quality standards across the County.
It is meant to serve as a tool to help agencies adhere to their program model’s fidelity and support program quality, this year especially as sites have transitioned to an increase in in-person home visits. Responses are used to inform workshops and collaborative training opportunities for home visiting programs in Los Angeles County. This survey helps us to better understand the programs, as well as to inform county-wide efforts to improve best practices.
