Strengthening Home Visiting in Los Angeles: A Comprehensive Plan to Improve Child, Family, and Community Well-Being
On March 17, 2017 the Consortium co-hosted a roundtable meeting with home visitors and other maternal and child direct service providers from across LA County to gather feedback and recommendations to inform the response to the Board of Supervisors’ motion. The Executive Summary of the findings from that meeting is available here.
An interim Progress Report on the response to the home visiting motion, which incorporates the review and feedback of the Consortium, was submitted to the Board of Supervisors in June 2017. The text of the Progress Report is available here.
The second progress report was submitted to the Board of Supervisors in October 2017. The report includes details about pilot projects that have been initiated and commitments that have been made by County Departments and other agencies named in the motion.
